Hammer House Horror films...(Not the FA Cup Wigan game)
|
Used to shit me up as a kid. Currently watching "The Scars of Dracula" 1970.
It's so bad it' great. Young Dennis Waterman sounding very posh. Hammy acting, bats on strings, cleavages, and gallons of Tom sauce. Christopher Lee is great though.
Anyone got a favourite?

One of my best mate's Dad owned Hammer Films. he sold it to one of Saatchi bros a while back.
Heard some fun stories. One I seem to recall begging Richard Widmark to come back on set after accusing the writers of being sick. (To The Devil a Daughter) And Betty Davies knocking down the G&Ts in Borehamwood.

Good shout for Witch Finder General.
Old Vincent Price is great news that.
Don't think it was a Hammer production but Children of the Damned was great.
Ha and Cary on Screaming....
Don't make em like that anymore

Surely everybody who grew up watching these films did so mainly to get sight of bare breasts on tv? Couldn't just have been me, surely?

It’s a bit obvious to say The Wicker Man, but I’m going to say it anyway. The Wicker Man.
And Twins Of Evil.

'Get Out' is very good, not sure if it's a horror film as such though.
